Bad or worse things about working for Walmart inc
Total of number people participated in this survey: 21

They don't listen to hourly associates anymore
There is no loyalty with internal associates
Walmart has lost it's focus on what made us the number one company

the way mgrs treat the people who work hard for this company the rate of pay for the people who been in the company for many years they take away and the new ones get pay more than the older ones that new task mgr program how can they make u work more harder and time u to do three our four dept with only one person when there sould be at least in each dept and then coach u about it .very bad ..

The pay, have been employed there for over a year - have a BS degree - and still stuck in an entry-level position. No advancement opportunities whatsoever, even though that is what they told me at orientation.

management

1. Low pay for work expected.
2. Management non-responsive to complaints.
3. They don't follow their own policies.

Lack of incentives.
Lack of motivation.
New hires are paid more then veteran employees.

management leaders are not what they need to be
have lost the value of a family should come first
greedy

Stupid "sick" policy
scorecard
Managers-toomany

Working at Walmarts is great and I enjoy the job. The problems is the lack of comunication from the management for information.

MANAGERS ARE AWFUL SOME OF THEM ANYWAY
MANAGERS ARE ARROGANT AND NOT VERY HELPFUL AT ALL
THE BENEFITS ARE NOT AS GOOD AS THEY SHOULD BE.

this new ict program they treat the women like men.unloading 1800-2000 piece trucks, pulling pallets that are a good 1000 or more lbs.you have to work every one else job but you dont get no more pay and management dont care its worst than a mill job.

management comunication
lack of employee bonus, horrible health care

no management support

Low Pay unless your a teenager (female)

Work your ass off and they don't even appreciate you

And if you get hurt they treat you like shit and that includes the home office

managers attitude

some very unfair managers SCHEDULEING #1 and the work load they put on 1 person at times is very overwhelming

1. Uneducated supervisors
2. The unwillingness to care about employees
3. No real opportunity to advance

lines drinks too hot at front when things give out it takes awhile to get in stock

n/a

constant changing od mods(customers don't like it) not enough associates to do the work, deleting big selling items.. no apprecietion shown to overnight workers!!

1.There is no open door policy, its a joke!
2.They expect more and more from you and won't hire any more help. They expect the older employees to pick up the slack. Then they tell us that they can hire younger people to do the same work for less money.
3.They treat employees like dirt and then expect us to enjoy it.Thier insurance sucks!

Miscellaneous comments about Walmart inc

As a store manager I scored very high on my associate opinion survey. That is where your associates rate the company and you as a manager. My market team basically told me that my score was too good and I was not holding my associates accountable enough. Very frustrating

they are not fair at the store iam working at they only more up the new people and sorry for saying this and only white no other we all been try but no chance..they need to do somthing not fair..4260...

Sorry for negative attitude, management has been awful to all my co-workers. We are a good team and that just bothers our store manager so much he is firing good people, and promoting the lazy ones. Been a great year!

Managers do not resolve issues. “theres nothing I can do”

I believe one day all the things that they are doing will come back and haunt them. It is all well and good to give to charity but that alone can not replace what they are doing to all the employees who make that possible. I dedicated 17 years to a company who no longer respected me and was not willing to help me even though I had been there for them time and time again.

Communicate with employees more. I work hard and earn my pay. I am searching for full time. Walmarts hired many people after me and gave them full time.

i have had several jobs in the years but ive never work for a company that didnt have someone to oversee their stores and give those who deserve it a raise .i hope they take the time to consider what im saying thow i doubt it.

want to know how they figure employee bonus and raises

The way Walmart is run today Sam is probably rolling over in his grave you sure have let him down

the bushnell,fl wal-mart should treat there associates with more consideration and maybe
tere would not be such a high overturn.

i love my job just not the unfairness

GET OUT BEFORE ITS TOO LATE

Others nice Evelyn Brenda Karen Marlyn a black girl with short hair more should be liked these

I love my job..been there 11 years. But whats been happening of late makes me question why I'm still there.. Morale in my store is at an all time low.. Not enough people makes it hard to do the job right. I care about what I do but can't do my job right if I have to be in 2 or 3 depts. a night. Need to start getting freight to the floor earlier. Too much time wasted moving freight. Need to go back to the way things were done when I first started. Receiving is sweltering in the summer and freezing in the winter.. need power jacks to move pallets, more efficent than the ones we have now! If a small store can afford them why can't we???

After working for walmart and being a customer I think that Sam Walton would be ashamed of the way his company is treating their employees and customers. You need to get back to what he believed and make it work. Instead of being so money hungry! I don't even like to tell people where I work, they feel sorry for me.
