getting to the right department one department have very little contact. between customer care and tech support. always spend hours on phone to solve simple problems and one dept. has no clue what other dept has putin file

get rid of the indians that answer the phone and the japan people and hire americans.

They make defective products.
They will not refund your money when you get a defective product.
They substitute refurbished laptops when replacing defective new laptops.

No one in Tech Support speaks english. Dell lies about product availability to keep you from cancelling an order.

The user interface was cumbersome. At the time of my ordering, they were testing with some AJAX stuff - I liked the old ordering system.

Miscellaneous comments about Dell

returned product in dec09 had perchased warranty till 2012 refused tech support for 9 months because customer service did not contact tech support with info. refused to extend warranty the 8 months i was without support when they had returned part since dec support reinstated finally inaug 2010,but i feel i was cheatedout of 8 months service

they stink.

I am extremely disappointed with the last two Dell computers I've bought. They have no interest in making it right.
