Tecross FAQs: See what employees, customers and consumers have to say about your company

Why login/membership is required to submit surveys?
There are too many spammers out there. In order to maintain the quality of the information we gather, we have to limit the survey participation to members only.
How can I remain anonymous?
You can remain anonymous by selecting a generic user name.
Why login/membership is required to sign for complaint petitions?
To resolve complaints, we spend our own time and resources to work with the corresponding companies as soon as the minimum numbers of signatures (50) are achieved. Since our resources are limited, we want to focus only on complaints that not only benefit the complaint owner but the entire society. We do not want to deal with frivolous complaints. As a result, companies are also more receptive to us since they understand that we work only on critical complaints. If a complaint is not worth your time to register, then that complaint does not deserve Tecross' time and efforts.
How much does it cost?
Tecross membership is FREE for everyone irrespective of race, religion, sex, ethnicity, financial or marital status.
Do I have to become a member?
In order to maintain the quality of the information we provide you, only registered users are allowed to participate in opinion polls, filing complaints, complaint/petition signatures, blog and message boards. Non-members are allowed read-only access to all these information.
How the complaints are processed?
A complaint entered by a user is treated as a petition to the corresponding company. Other Tecross users can then sign this petition if they feel it is a worthwhile complaint .
  • Once the required numbers of signatures (50) are obtained (see next question for exceptions), Tecross will contact the company to resolve this complaint.
  • If the company does not resolve the issue within 30 days, Tecross will send the relevant information to media companies for public awareness.
  • If the company does not resolve the issue even after that, Tecross will file appropriate paperwork and complaint to the respective governing federal body.
Are there any exceptions to the minimum required signatures?
Yes, as a general rule, each complaint requires at least 50 signatures to be processed by Tecross. However, we make exceptions as noted below:
  • Unethical business practices - Tecross may process these complaints with minimal signatures.
  • Tecross will process a life threatening complaint even if it has no peition signatures.
  • For an unsolvable, already resolved, or trivial complaint, Tecross may choose not to process even if there are more than 50 signatures.
What are bulletins and how are they processed?
A bulletin is a way for Tecross to work/track an issue.
  • Tecross will create a bulletin for each worthwhile complaint
  • A single bulletin may address multiple member filed complaints
  • You can view the progress of an issue by visiting the bulletin detail screen
What are the various bulletins statuses?
A Tecross bulletin will have one of the following statuses:
  • In Progress - Tecross is investigating the issue
  • Pending Member - Tecross is waiting for additional information from the complaint owner
  • Pending Company - Tecross is waiting to hear from the respective company
  • Closed - The bulletin has been closed
  • Deferred - Tecross is waiting for more petition signatures
